UEFA CUP

At 17th May 2008 Portsmouth beated Cardiff City in the FA Cup final. Pompey won with 1-0, Nwankwo Kanu scored the only goal. Thank to the FA Cup victory Portsmouth is qualified for the UEFA CUP.
The starting eleven were:

Portsmouth: James; Johnson, Campbell, Distin, Hreidarsson; Pedro Mendes, Diarra, Muntari, Kranjcar; Utaka en Kanu.

Cardiff City: Enckelman; McNaughton, Johnson, Loovens, Capaldi; Ledley, Rae, McPhail, Whittingham; Parry en Hasselbaink.
